Directions: From north or south I-65, take exit 340 to I-565/US-72 east toward Huntsville. Stay US-72 taking Winchester Road NE (left at stop light) then turn right to Coleman Road. 1st park entrance on left then bear right at the Y (campground is on the left).

Heavy Tournaments/Armored Combat Lists:
The Wish List – a “Bridesmaid List” for fighters who have never won a list. No weapon restrictions. Prize is a beautiful helmet made by Sir Marcus
The Doom List -a one-on-one tournament, no weapons restrictions. List will be fought double elimination, and if necessary, will be a speed tournament format. Prize is a DOOM Cloak and the right to wear the Chain of Doom for a year.
The Sable Swan List – a one-on-one tournament, two-handed and great weapons only. List will be fought double elimination, and if necessary, will be a speed tournament format. Prize will be a fiberglass spear shaft.
The Wine List – a 4-person melee team, each team required to have at least one great weapon or two-handed weapons fighter. List will be fought double elimination, and if necessary, will be a speed tournament format. Prizes will be a gift basket per winning team member (4 baskets total) stocked with delicious charcuterie and jams/jellies provided by Peculiar Preserves, plus a very sharp Finnish Puka-style knife made by Sir Iain Geirmundsson (4 baskets, 4 knives total).
Rapier Tournaments:
Champagne List (or Sparkling Rapier, if not from the Champagne Region in France) — Individual 1-on-1, double elimination rapier tournament. Prize to be announced later.
Mead List — Rapier Holmgang 2-on-2 tournament. This 2-person team tournament mimics a Viking judicial contest. One fighter per side plus one shield bearer who is purely defensive. It’s ‘bad form’ to kill the shield bearer. Limited field to mimic a small island. Tournament will be fought double elimination. A steel buckler will be given to the tournament winner (attacker). A steel buckler will also be given the shield bearer judged best defender.
Class information :
An introduction to the old Norse: Norse Language including runes, pronunciation and grammar.
Regional Discussion: How can we help?
Intro to Bayeaux Stitch/Couching/Laid work: Learn the embroidery technique used to cover large areas. 10 hands-on students, unlimited observers. No age limit but child must be able to read. $3 charge for materials. Fee includes handout, materials. Bring your own hoop and scissors.
Banners and Heraldic Display: Look at period examples of flags, banners, standards and pendants. Discuss different ways to display our SCA heraldry. A limited number of handouts with images will be available.

1. Registration (we refer to this as Troll!)
a. Information gathered like your name, Adult/Child, and if you want to eat feast
b. Fee collected
i. Non-member Fee = $5
ii. Site Fee = $10
iii. Feast, if desired = $7
c. Waiver(s) signed
2. Clothing (we might refer to this as garb)
a. An attempt to look pre-17th century.
i. We have loaner garb if needed

– Enjoy the morning refreshments
– Participate in a class
– Watch the fighting – armored and rapier
